South Hampstead High School

Wates Construction recently completed the design and build of the new South Hampstead High School in London, built to accommodate 720 students aged 11 to 18 years. The result is a modern school building that blends original features with new-build extensions. The £20m project involved the initial demolition of existing squash courts to make way for the new-build school. In addition, 2,500m² of temporary school accommodation was installed at the project outset, providing staff and students with a disruption-free environment.
