The development of the iconic former American Embassy building situated in the heart of
Mayfair. Incorporating a new hotel, retail, residential and event space, blending modern
luxury with historic preservation whilst retaining the original external façade.

In consultation with Mivan Construction for Level 7 of this project, Thermotec were selected to provide a bespoke design and installation package of a fully integrated cradle and batten flooring system that provided the highest standard of acoustic performance. We were also asked to design and install our TPA11 Aquafloor underfloor heating system using the latest and most sustainable technology.
This was a very interesting project to work on and working with Multiplex to target zero emissions on site gave us opportunities to identify and improve our own sustainability targets. The building has since been awarded an excellent BREEAM rating which demonstrates outstanding environmental sustainability.
Thermotec successfully carried out the supply and installation of the bespoke flooring system using highly specialist acoustic materials imported from the US, alongside our TPA11 Aquafloor system. The project was managed, installed and supervised by Thermotec, and was delivered on time and within budget.
