Fundamental to the Aquafloor Tacker system is the Aquafloor PE-MDXC underfloor heating pipe, a multi-layer pipe with an integral oxygen barrier layer. Extremely flexible yet robust enough to withstand the rigours of the construction environment, the pipe delivers excellent thermal transfer characteristics for a highly efficient floor heating solution. Designed for use with screeded sub-floors, including lightweight anhydrite screeds, the system has a minimum floor build-up of 65 mm incorporating acoustic and thermal insulation. It is a cost-effective and programme-friendly solution, allowing 500–750 m² of liquid screed to be poured per day without the need for a slab levelling screed. Floor finishes can be applied directly, providing consistent underfloor heating output and a solid floor feel, while operating at low temperatures and integrating seamlessly with renewable energy sources such as heat pumps and solar for optimum energy efficiency.
