TPA17 Aquafloor Super Thin Floating Floor

Underfloor Heating System

TPA17 Aquafloor Super Thin Floating Floor

Fundamental to the system is the Aquafloor PE-MDXC underfloor heating pipe, a multi-layer pipe with an integral oxygen barrier layer. Extremely flexible yet robust enough to withstand the rigours of the construction environment, the pipe offers excellent thermal transfer characteristics, delivering a superior floor heating solution that integrates seamlessly with renewable energy sources such as heat pumps and solar at low operating temperatures for optimum energy efficiency. Designed as a lightweight, dry construction system with no wet screed required, floor finishes can be applied immediately after installation, making it ideal for refurbishment projects. Typical heat outputs range from 50–80 W/m², with engineered timber flooring able to be laid directly over the routed and foiled panel, or the system overlaid with ply or screed boards for tiled or soft floor coverings. The system provides rapid underfloor heating response times while improving overall sub-floor insulation.
