At the heart of the system is a chipboard panel with pre-routed channelling designed to accept the Thermotec 12 mm PEX underfloor heating pipe with an integral oxygen barrier. This highly flexible yet robust pipe is capable of withstanding the rigours of the construction environment while offering excellent thermal transfer characteristics to deliver a superior floor heating solution. The system provides heat outputs of up to 75 W/m² and is suitable for installation on both solid and timber sub-floors, with an ultra-low construction height and a choice of installation thicknesses to suit different project requirements. Operating at low floor temperatures, the system allows individual temperature control in every room and integrates seamlessly with renewable energy sources such as heat pumps and solar to achieve optimum energy efficiency.
