Underfloor Heating System

TPA16 Aquafloor Acoustic Cradle & Batten

Fundamental to the system is the Aquafloor PE-MDXC underfloor heating pipe, a multi-layer pipe with an integral oxygen barrier layer. Extremely flexible yet robust enough to withstand the rigours of the construction environment, the pipe delivers excellent thermal transfer characteristics for a superior floor heating solution and integrates seamlessly with renewable energy sources such as heat pumps and solar, operating at low floor temperatures for optimum energy efficiency. The system provides an economical and easy-to-install method for levelling stepped and uneven sub-floors and can be adjusted to suit varying finished floor levels and service requirements. Ideal for refurbishment and upgrade projects, it eliminates the need for screeded floors, reducing installation time and cost while also lowering impact and airborne noise by creating an acoustic timber floating floor system. Manufactured from recycled materials, the adjustable cradle and riser system minimises the need for shims, supports compliance with Part E of the Building Regulations, and helps reduce overall carbon footprint.
