The Whiteley
The internal fit-out of 139 world-class residences at the landmark site of the former Whiteleys shopping centre in Bayswater. All apartments are designed with outstanding craftmanship and elegance to match the meticulously restored original façade of the
building.

In consultation with Ardmore Construction, Thermotec were asked to provide a complete design and installation package of an acoustic floor levelling build up. We utilized a combination of both saddle and pedestal systems, providing not only acoustic benefits but also a useful void for services. We combined this floor build-up in the main living areas with our TPA15 Aquafloor underfloor heating system using aluminium heat diffusion plates before finally installing Smartspan panels which provide further acoustic benefit, have excellent thermal conductivity and provide a suitable surface for stone or ceramic floor finishes. Thermotec were also asked to design and install fire compartmentation on the sub-floor.
In the wet rooms we used our TPS10 Supafloor system which utilises electric in-screed cables for excellent energy efficiency.
This project has been an absolute pleasure to work on, Thermotec and Ardmore have worked collaboratively to overcome a number of site challenges to ensure the successful completion of this incredible project that we are extremely proud to have been a part of.
